So...
My classes are all right this year. They are nothing like last year's kids. I don't know if that is a good or bad thing. Last year, my 2nd and 3rd classes were hyper and crazy, but they were willing to discuss things and share their ideas. Although I always had to deal with crazy behavior, I sometimes had fun with them. This year, my 2nd and 3rd classes are so BORING. They would rather sit and stare off into space than do anything. Right now, we're reading The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens by Sean Covey. This book has everything... it's all about THEM. They are so not into it. It makes me a little apprehensive about actually starting a real piece of literature with them. I get to my 4th class of the day and I am so tired because I was bored by their stock answers and blahness. Man! I hope this gets better. I don't want to resort to jumping on the tables to get them to wake the hell up.
In other news, my wedding dress came in. I can't wait to be married to Nathan. In my short life, he's the best thing that has ever happened to me. Let me quote Queen by saying... he's the best friend that I ever had. On that note of pure cheese (I don't care)...
WOO! It's Thursday and we don't have students tomorrow! Although I wish we did because I have a lot of stuff to get through with them!

One of my classes is like that. I was totally stunned at first, I had no clue what to do with a quiet class that didn't discuss and would rather just sit and stare. They're starting to warm up now, but at first I was where you were at: Totally bored!
