I'm discouraged about my school. I love my students and former students, but I don't know about this district sometimes. Here is an example. I walked out of my classroom today and saw 3 students on cell phones. I asked one of them to put it away. I heard, "You're not my teacher. Get out of my face!" I wish I could say that this NEVER happens, but I'd be lying. I experience an interaction like this at least twice a week.
