Tired, tired, tired....
Yesterday, I was at school for 14 hours. Whew. We had parent-teacher conferences. I've never had so many parents come in! It was awesome. They were lined up out the door until 8:40 and conferences were supposed to end at 8.
Something that bothered me and always bothers me is that some parents are so grumpy. There kid is doing great, but they never smile and don't show their kid that they are happy they are achieving. At least it wasn't like last year when a mom said to her kid (and I quote), "I would rather see you dead on the streets than these grades. You'd be better off dead." Dang. Harsh words.
