Nate and I left the house yesterday afternoon bound for the east side of the state. At one point before we left, I found myself pacing around the living room reciting everything that I absolutely need to get onto the plane. The scene played out like this:
pace, pace, pace
"Underwear."
pace, trip over dog
"Passport."
pace, pace
"Money."
pace, pace, pace
"Malaria pills."
Then, I almost opened up all of my stuff and went through it again, but then I checked myself with a few deep breaths. If I'm missing anything, I'll just buy it.
I can't believe I'm actually doing this! I am really excited to leave tomorrow evening. I probably won't even sleep tonight. I'm trying to get Nate to go see Cyrus will me tomorrow afternoon so I don't wander around his parent's house talking to myself and pacing.
The next time I travel somewhere, I hope I won't feel so panicky. Just gearing up to travel for my first time has been really fun, so I know there will be a next time. Minus the panic, of course.

I know you are going to have an amazing time! I can't wait to hear all the details.
Best of luck Jen! I'll be checking this often, and I know that you'll entertain me as you always do!
