Denied
On a whim, I applied for an amazing sounding job for a non-profit in Chicago. I thought it about how great it would be to work for a place that seemed to appreciate its employees while you work with students in the public school system. I got all amped up about it and my imagination ran away from me for a few hours. Maybe the adrenaline rush came from pressing send on an email with my resume attached. I haven't done that in 5 years.

Don't sweat it Jen. I've received several of these over the years and it is just the nature of the biz. Keep throwing those feelers out there. You never know where something could land.
