Am I well?

Well, I don't know.

Our niece, Abigail, was born on Tuesday and she is doing well. We are going to see her tomorrow and I can't wait.

One of my students kind of changed my life today. It left me not feeling well about the state of the world.

The students in my 4th hour are not doing well. Half of them failed my class and that's never happened to me in all my years of teaching.

But then there are the other four classes. And they are, well... well?

Sometimes I just want to fall into a well. Not a dank and nasty one, but a nice and calm one.
