Some people may think that three years of marriage doesn't really mean a lot. I think it's something pretty amazing. Marriage is not the effortless ride I was spoon fed by media when I was younger. However, I've got to say that the effort is worth it.

Here is some advice I got over the last few days from couples who have been married for more than 30 years when I asked them the key to a successful marriage:
I work first shift, she works second shift.
Don't take everything so seriously.
Oh the difference a day makes.
Have a sense of humor.

Well... nothing earth shattering there. Maybe that's the key.
